The European Turkish Business Centres Network was established in 2002 by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Tukey and the Chambers of Commerce, with funds from the European Union. These Centres provide professional training and consultancy services to SMEs.

BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

• Overall management & coordination of department.
• Consultancy services on business development, innovation & technology transfer for SMEs, business plan, marketing, production management, energy management, change management, finance, international business networks and institutionalization to governmental and private sector bodies – Municipalities, Chamber of Commerce, University and other local NGOs
• Managing SME Portal Services and MIS (Management of Information Services)
• Responsibility of Promotion and Marketing of ABIGEM Gaziantep Business Centre – design and publishing works of monthly bulletin of the Business Centre and
• Delivering ICT and Technology consultancy services to 25 start-up and SMEs
• Delivering trainings on Business Entrepreneurship, Financial Analyses, PCM – Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework, Innovation & Technology Transfer strategies to SMEs
• Conducting research studies, data collection and analysis for developing capacity reports of public, NGOs and SMEs.
• Providing consultancy services to SMEs on process efficiency/productivity services in manufacturing sector, investment of R&D, strategic management, business growth, digitalization of business.
• Training needs analyses and training design for SMEs. Competencies and performance of work teams, Problem solving or productivity issues, the need to prepare for and respond to future changes in the organization or job duties.
• Selecting the internal or external experts or resources to design and develop the training, selecting and design the program content, selecting the techniques used to facilitate learning (lecture, role play, simulation, etc.), selecting the appropriate setting (on the job, classroom, etc.), selecting the materials to be used in delivering the training (work books, videos, identifying and train instructors, scheduling classes, facilities and participants, scheduling instructors to teach, preparation materials and deliver them to scheduled locations and conducting the trainings
• As a part of the project, attending to WASME Conference 2005 to share Turkish SMEs R&D capacities and increase competitiveness abilities by transferring success stories realized in EU Countries.
